Subaru cold start sensor. Jan 13, 2019 · 2009 Outback has trouble starting in cold weather, below 25 degree F. The sensor is the correct Subaru part. Did a fuel pressure test and found that it shows no pressure at key prime, after cranking on it for a while it comes up and starts, once it starts the gauge reads 38-40 psi of pressure and runs great, But when I turn the car off the pressure bleeds down to Feb 14, 2024 · The sensor glows red so the heater works. The car cranks and cranks but won’t turn over for several minutes. What also might work is warming up the ambient tempurature sensor to better align with the coolant sensor. Dec 6, 2013 · Have now replaced - cam position sensor, crank position sensor, engine coolant sensor, IACV, MAP sensor, fuel pressure regulator and as of today, completed the inspection and replacement of the problem prone o-ring on the fuel pump assembly, old one was fine but had to replace it anyway as it was slightly swollen and I couldn't get the cap back on.
