Azure ad connect group membership not syncing. Jan 13, 2025 · Retirement of MSOnline PowerShell begins in April 2025. Aug 30, 2020 · We are in a test envioronment for AD Connect using Security Groups. Having gone through the recommendations of IdFix, we couldn't find the reason for this mismatch. The group (and members) are being sync from on prem to Azure so they are in both placed. Unlike its predecessor, Azure AD Connect, Microsoft Entra Cloud Sync uses a lightweight provisioning agent installed on-premises rather than a full synchronization engine. We were on prem and now in a hybrid state while we slowly move all mailboxes to o365. I verified the OU containing the lists is selected in the AAD connect tool.
